AbstractAs information grow very fast, marketing tools and methods follow these rapid changes. Marketing methods are very much changed with computer technologies. Small companies took advantages of computer technologies to compete with larger companies. By making use of effective web designs and e-commerce software, small companies took important places in the market. E-commerce is also extensively, effectively and easily used in private pensions system whose product is only investment. In this work, 11 private pension companies have been studied by focusing on e-commerce. Web pages of those companies are investigated from technically and academically points of view to evaluate them according to recent developments in e-commerce. In general, e-commerce and e-marketing and their benefits are discussed. Then, characteristics of web site of effective private pension companies are explained. After evaluation it is found that the companies are doing well on e-commerce and satisfying expectations of their costumers.
