Abstract Developments in internet tecnologies have increased the number and volume of business transactions in electronic environment.. But in this field, there are important security and legal problems. What are the rules and requirements for conducting business transactions in an electronic form in nowadays in global network? In a commercial environment, parties enter into an endless variety of different types of transactions. These include contracts governing the purchase and sale of goods, lease agreements, agreements for the creation of security interests, loan agreements and promissory notes, license agreements, insurance contracts, proxy agreements, and the like. As the Internet becomes an integral part of business, and helps to facilitate global commerce, there is an ever-increasing desire to conduct these transactions in that electronic medium. This study is discussing the basic legal requirements for entering into business transactions using electronic means.
