ÖzetThe Flipped Classroom Model-also known inverted classroom model- is an innovative learning model proposed in the regulation of learning processes of 21st century students. In terms of being an educational innovation, it raises curiosity among educators and researchers in many respects. In this direction, first of all, questions such as what is the innovation, whether the model is useful and how it is adopted can be answered. As a novelty, it is useful to systematically examine similar questions about the Flipped Classroom Model within the framework of innovation theories. In this study; the Flipped Classroom Model is considered as an educational innovation and has been examined within the Rogers' Diffusion of Innovation Theory.
