| Abstract | With rapid developments in computer networks and Internet technology, wireless networks usage are exponentially increasing. Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS) is a broadband wireless point-to-multipoint communication system operating above 20 GHz. In this work, general information about LDMS is presented. LDMS is developed for wireless systems. Its standardization studies are maintaining by ATM Forum, DAVIC, ETSI and ITU. |
