| Abstract | Parellel to the increasing costs in technological development in health and other sectors, brings the necessary economic analyses. Cost-benefit analysis is the most important one of this economic analysis. This analysis has been used for years in business and industry as a way to measure productivitiy. Costs and benefits are calculated and evaluated in monetary terms. This analysis becomes necessary in healthcare because information technologies are costly and change rapidly. Cost-benefit analysis are used to evaluate actual costs and benefits of information systems before the system is introduced large scale, compare the situation with experimental methods before and after introduction of system and observe the effects of system in trial. In this study, we reviewed costs and benefits aspects of information systems and cost-benefit analysis processes in health. |
