AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the fields of internet use and the view of faculty members about internet in the universities of the southern Kyrgyzstan. In May 2007, a questionnaire was given to the faculty members in 5 different universities in the provinces of Celalabat and Oş. One of the aims of the study was to figure out the extent to which participants take part in the development in the cognitive fields. Trying to exist in every field after the independence, the country’s gate to being a developed country has always been cognitive fields. In order for Kyrgyz people to accomplish this, they should facilitate their electronic culture transformation.
